Dr. Abubaker Abdelrahman Babeker completed his Bachelor of Science in Medicine and Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Algadarif, Sudan in 2015. 

Dr. Abubaker started his clinical practice as a House Officer in various hospitals in his home country in 2015.  In 2016, he worked as a General Practitioner in Emergency Renal Dialysis Center at Khartoum North Teaching Hospital, Sudan.  In 2017, he became a General Practitioner in Internal Medicine, Nephrology, and Dialysis Center at Alamal National Hospital, Sudan.  In 2020, he became a General Practitioner in Internal Medicine, Nephrology, and Dialysis Center at Rafha General Hospital, Sudan.  A year later, he moved to the UAE and continued his medical practice as a General Practitioner in a COVID-19 project of a large tertiary healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi.  Shortly after, he worked as a General Practitioner in Long-Term Care Unit of the same hospital.  Prior to joining Salma Rehabilitation Hospital, he was posted as a General Practitioner at a private home hemodialysis facility in the emirate.

Dr. Abubaker is well-trained in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Hemodialysis.  He has clinical experience in end-stage renal disease on hemodialysis, acute and chronic renal failure, and intra-dialysis complications.

Dr. Abubaker speaks Arabic and English.
